1947 BSA A7

click "congratulations you have the wining bid" :o)

There is something about early British motorbikes (40-60’s) that has always interested me. After finishing the vespa sidecar project, I came across this interesting project, as always it was a Ricardo auction (like Ebay, but Swiss based), I just couldn’t help but click on that button and place a bid.

Well I was pleasantly surprised once I got it all home, but soon realised that the sidecar had to go as there was no room in the garage or workshop so that fell back onto Ricardo and was sold on quite easy.

Modified springer head light with housings for the switches and gauges.

New style for the seat, I can feel my back aching already.

Fresh powder coated hubs with Stainless steel spoken on shinny Chrome rims.......ummmmmm........I like it alot :o)

New fender for that SoCal look.

Not sure on the rear light yet but still lots of time for that later.

New petrol tank, small and slim, classic style.

Soon it’s going to be off to the powder coaters for the frame and parts!

Shinny like new, not bad for nut's and bolts that are over 60 year's old!!
