Many Many Many Years ago I saw a vespa sidecar and feel in love with the idea of owning one of my own someday..... In the spring of 2007 while wasting a few ideal minutes at work surfing the internet there it was......A vespa sidecar outfit in boxes "just needs paint and a few parts" like all basket cases projects say in the advertisements!
So here what I got for my money.....
It's surprising but I managed to squeeze all the parts into my car and start the long journey home, all the way I was thinking I can wait to get start :o)
The next day there was no stopping me, time to check out all the parts and see what I'd spend a chunk of money on, I put the puzzle together and came up with a good result.......
Well to cut a long story short 3 months later she rolled out of the workshop onto the street for the first time in many many years......
Top speed ca. 80kph with my girl friend + the dog in the sidecar, how is it to drive I hear you asking......well what do you think......under powered and under equipped for braking and bad handling.....fun all the way just don't try doing anything in a hurry especially stopping :o)
